Update as of 4/21/2020- Gov. Baker has announced schools will be canceled for the rest of the academic year. This may have an impact on our emergency care operations as well as our summer camp. Update as of 4/22/2020-Yesterday, Gov. Baker announced early education and care programs will remain closed until Monday, June 29. The order does not apply to exempt emergency childcare programs approved by EEC. As for now, we will continue with emergency care until June 29th.

Update as of 6/22/2020- Emergency care has been extended through July 10th. Our summer camp will begin on July 6th. Beginning July 6th, camp hours will be from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

  • Emergency care children will have activities apart from summer campers. But for children enrolled in both programs, they will be allowed to participate in the activities as part of our summer camp at no charge for that week July 6th-July 10th. All deposits made for that week will be credited towards the next week your child is signed up for.

The health and safety our club members and staff are our highest priority. The Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth is committed to the following best practices intended to help limit the potential spread of illness, in accordance with the CDC and our local Board of Health.

•The staff will be taking temperatures of each member when they enter the building. Parents/Guardians must complete a daily protocol screening sheet for their member.
•We will be having staff and members perform more frequent hand washing (every 45 minutes) as well as disinfecting and sanitizing before and after each activity. Members will be asked to use the same chairs/computer stations.
•We are increasing our sanitation of all program areas. We will be sanitizing activity areas and equipment throughout the day. We will store harder to clean equipment away.
•We have adopted social distancing best practices and are limiting unnecessary close contact. For example, we will be not playing games like tag and will space out each member (family units will stay together) during mealtimes and activities.
•We will be having smaller group sizes and modified activities to limit contact between members and staff.
