Education and Career Development
Education and Career Development is designed to enable youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, set goals, explore careers, prepare for employment and embrace technology to achieve success in a career. Fall programs for this area include Money Matters, which promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members by building their basic money management skills; Career Launch, a program used to assess their skills and interests, explore careers, make sound educational decisions and prepare to join our nation’s ever-changing work force; and Goals for Graduation, a program that introduces academic goal setting by linking their future aspirations with concrete actions today.

Power Hour (All ages)
A large group program in which members are assisted with their homework. Members earn Power Hour points for completing their assignments and doing extra educational work. Members can turn in their points for prizes.

This group meets daily from 4-5p.m..


Goals for Graduation (All ages)
Members establish their own daily, weekly, short-term, and long-term goals on a path to graduation. Members earn rewards for accomplishments.

This group is incorporated into Power Hour.
