Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people,
especially those who need us most,
to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
Annual member fees are $25, but programming for

all youngsters costs the Club $850 per child, per year.

We pursue our mission with purpose, passion, and patience.  There is neither a more basic nor more important reason for our purpose and passion to be challenged than for us to assist our members in becoming competitive in their basic skills, in their academics, in their ability to participate on the playground, and in their access to computers to overcome the "digital divide."

Founded in 1911 and chartered in 1915 by the then fledgling Boys Clubs of America, the Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth has served the town and its surrounding communities for over 104 years.  The Club's recent history mirrors that of the re-chartered Boys & Girls Clubs of America where "gym and swim" has been replaced with more academic pursuits (basic skills and homework help) - fitness and agility exercises for both the boys and girls that are suited to individual and small group physical development.  The Club moved to its own new 20,000 square foot facility at 9 Resnik Road in 2003.  The Club is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization (EIN 04-2103926).  Donations to continue this work are appreciated.

The Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth offers young people what they need and want most:  caring adults who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves; and interesting, constructive activities that channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits.

A youth development strategy underlies all Boys & Girls Club programs and fosters a sense of belonging, competence, usefulness, and upward influence in their Club that builds self-confidence and self-esteem.

The Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth is part of a nationwide affiliation of local, autonomous organizations and the parent Boys & Girls Clubs of America working to help youth of all backgrounds develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders.  It is facility-based, employs 3 full-time, 11 part-time, and 47 volunteers and offers daily access to a broad range of programs in five core program areas:  Character and Leadership Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts; and Sports, Fitness, and Recreation.

Today, over 800 boys and girls from all walks of life (and some at risk) are taking advantage of the programs, activities, and services provided by the Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth.  They benefit from trained, caring, professional staff and volunteers who help young people take control of their lives, envision productive futures, and reach their goals.
